Thanks Party High Command for New Responsibility, Pledges Dedicated Public Service
Amritsar, July 21 (Phulljit Singh Verpal, Manjeet Singh):Newly appointed Swarnkar Welfare Board (Amritsar South) Chairman Parmjeet Singh Sonu met Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Amritsar Urban District President and Improvement Trust Chairman Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal, along with Lok Sabha In-charge and Councillor Jarnail Singh Dhot, in Amritsar.
On the occasion, Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal and Jarnail Singh Dhot congratulated Parmjeet Singh Sonu on his new appointment by offering him sweets. They expressed confidence that he would play an important role in strengthening the party, connecting with party workers, and maintaining close contact with the public.
Parmjeet Singh Sonu thanked AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab In-charge Manish Sisodia, District President Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal, Lok Sabha In-charge Jarnail Singh Dhot, Amritsar South MLA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, and the entire party leadership for reposing faith in him.
He said that he would discharge the responsibility entrusted to him with complete honesty, dedication, and hard work. He added that strengthening the party organization in Amritsar South, working closely with party workers, and raising public issues before the government would be his top priorities.
Parmjeet Singh Sonu expressed confidence that by taking the Punjab Government’s welfare policies and development initiatives to every household, the Aam Aadmi Party would become even stronger. He also said he believes that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will once again earn the people’s mandate in the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
