Amritsar, September 12 (K.L. Jit Walia): In recognition of her commendable work and long-standing contribution to social service, dedicated worker Jagjit Kaur, popularly known as Tania, has been appointed as the Punjab Secretary of the International Human Rights Commission.
Director Amandeep Mittal issued orders appointing Jagjit Kaur Tania to the important position. In this regard, the International Human Rights Commission has also issued an official appointment letter mentioning her new responsibility.
Expressing gratitude for the appointment, Jagjit Kaur Tania said that the important responsibility entrusted to her by Commission office-bearer Ram Chhabra and Director Amandeep Mittal would be carried out with complete honesty, dedication and commitment. She said she would work tirelessly to take the policies and objectives of the organisation to the people.
Meanwhile, Commission office-bearers Ram Chhabra and Amandeep Mittal said that their organisation has always stood with hardworking and dedicated workers. They added that sincere workers would continue to be encouraged and given opportunities to move forward, while deserving workers would receive due recognition and respect in the future as well.
Newly appointed Punjab Secretary Jagjit Kaur Tania said that she would remain fully committed to taking the Commission’s policies and initiatives to every household. Along with creating awareness among people about their rights, she said she would work tirelessly towards expanding the organisation and strengthening its reach among the public.
