Amritsar, September 11 (K.L. Jit Walia): MLA from Amritsar South, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, has entrusted an important responsibility to Balwinder Singh Billa, who has been actively involved in social service and public welfare activities.
In this regard, MLA Dr. Nijjar issued a written letter appointing Balwinder Singh Billa to the responsibility of community coordination and political advisor.
Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that Balwinder Singh Billa has been associated with society for a long time and has consistently worked towards serving people and strengthening social harmony. He said that individuals who maintain strong connections with the public and have a deep understanding of social concerns play an important role in public service.
The MLA expressed confidence that Balwinder Singh Billa would perform his new responsibility with honesty, dedication and commitment. He said that Billa would establish better coordination with people from different areas of the Amritsar South constituency, understand their problems and make efforts towards finding suitable solutions.
Dr. Nijjar further said that, in his new role, Balwinder Singh Billa would maintain contact with different communities and play an important role in bringing people’s concerns to the attention of the government and administration. He would also work towards effectively communicating development works and public welfare activities being carried out in the constituency to the people.
Balwinder Singh Billa thanked MLA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar for entrusting him with the important responsibility. He said that he would carry out his duties with complete dedication and honesty and would always remain committed to serving the people.
