Amritsar, April 9 (K.L. Jit Walia) – During a special ceremony held today at Hotel Golden Tree on Sultanwind Road, ACP East Anubhav Jain was honored by local residents. Prominent social workers and residents of the area gathered to appreciate the public welfare efforts carried out by the police administration.
On this occasion, several dignitaries including Kawaljit Singh Kanda, Harinder Singh Kanda, and Mandeep Singh Kanda presented a memento and a ceremonial kirpan to ACP Jain, praising his dedication and services. They highlighted that ACP Jain has played a significant role in strengthening law and order in the area and building a sense of security among the people.
Addressing the gathering, ACP Anubhav Jain expressed his gratitude and stated that maintaining peace and order in society is only possible through cooperation between the police and the public. He urged citizens to immediately inform the police about anti-social elements and those involved in drug-related activities. He assured that the identity of informants would be kept completely confidential.
He further emphasized that the fight against drugs and crime is not solely the responsibility of the police but a collective responsibility of society. If every citizen fulfills their duty, these social evils can be eradicated.
Several other prominent personalities were also present at the event, and they pledged to work together with the police administration for social reform.
