Amritsar April 8 — A special meeting regarding the 2027 elections was held at the Hall Bazar office of urban Congress president and councillor Mitthu Madan. The meeting was organized by former councillor and Attari constituency worker Baldev Singh Sandhu.
Addressing the gathering Mitthu Madan said that as per the directions of Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring every party worker will be given due respect and recognition. He emphasized that Congress workers are the backbone of the party in Amritsar and each one of them will be valued accordingly.
Baldev Singh Sandhu expressed confidence that under the leadership of Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and Mitthu Madan the Congress party will form the government in Punjab in 2027. He stated that only the Congress party can work for the welfare of the people and the message of Congress lao Punjab bachao is being actively spread among the masses.
Several Congress leaders were present on the occasion including Raily Arora and councillor Navdeep Singh Hundal along with other party members.
The meeting focused on strengthening the party at the grassroots level and preparing for the upcoming elections with unity and determination.
