Congress Leader Hardev Chheena Honors Newly Elected President Amandeep Singh Chheena of Anaj Mandi Bhagtanwala
Amritsar, January 14 (K. L. Jit Walia): Amandeep Singh Chheena, who has been elected for the fifth consecutive term as President of the Arhtiya Union Amritsar of Anaj Mandi Bhagtanwala, was specially honored today by senior Congress leader Hardev Singh Chheena from Kasba Rajasansi.
On this occasion, senior Congress leader Hardev Singh Chheena said that newly appointed President Amandeep Singh Chheena has been fighting for the rights and interests of arhtiyas, labourers, and farmers for a long time. He has played a fair and proactive role by taking the issues faced by farmers, labourers, and arhtiya brothers in every mandi of Amritsar district to the government, resulting in several historic decisions. It is because of this dedication and leadership that the arhtiya community of Amritsar district has once again entrusted him with this major responsibility for the fifth time.
Expressing his gratitude, newly elected President Amandeep Singh Chheena said that the trust shown by arhtiyas and labour brothers by giving him this responsibility for the fifth time is a matter of great honor for him. He assured that he would fulfill this responsibility with complete dedication, honesty, and commitment. He further stated that he would work as a bridge between the government, the arhtiyas, and the labour brothers to ensure that their issues are effectively addressed and resolved.
