The Aam Aadmi Party has appointed senior leader Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal as the President of the Education Wing of the Majha Zone. This appointment is being seen as an important step toward further strengthening the education system in Punjab. Earlier, in 2017, Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal had also contested the Punjab Assembly elections from the Amritsar East constituency. His appointment has been warmly welcomed by party workers, teachers, and various sections of society across the Majha region.
As President of the Education Wing Majha Zone, Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal will focus on improving the quality of education, strengthening government schools, and ensuring equal and better educational opportunities for every child. In this role, he will work closely with teachers, parents, students, and the local administration to identify ground-level issues and ensure practical solutions.
Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal reiterated his commitment to the Aam Aadmi Party’s vision, which considers education as the foundation of a strong and progressive Punjab. He stated that he would continuously work to spread awareness about the importance of education, reduce school dropout rates, and promote skill development and modern teaching methods in both rural and urban areas.
Under his leadership, plans are in place to organize education awareness programs, teacher support initiatives, and guidance sessions for students in the Majha Zone. Special emphasis will also be laid on girls’ education, affordable and quality learning, and improvement of basic school infrastructure.
Party leaders said that Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal’s dedication, strong grassroots connection, and positive approach make him a suitable and capable choice for this responsibility. His appointment reflects the Aam Aadmi Party’s continued commitment to building an educated, empowered, and aware Punjab.
