Amritsar, May 17 (K.L. Jit Walia) – Aam Aadmi Party Trade Wing Halka East Chairman and senior party leader Kapil Chadha praised the development works being carried out by MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur, stating that the scale of public welfare and development witnessed in the constituency during the tenure of the present government had never been seen under any previous administration.
Kapil Chadha said that MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur is not limited only to development projects, but also personally reaches out to the people, listens to their grievances, and ensures prompt solutions. He said that roads, streets, sewerage systems, street lights, and other basic infrastructure facilities in Halka East have seen remarkable improvement, directly benefiting the residents.
He further stated that MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur has given special directions for resolving the problems faced by traders. She has instructed party workers and officials to visit traders personally, understand their issues, and ensure solutions on a priority basis so that the business environment can become stronger and more supportive.
Kapil Chadha said that traders are the backbone of Punjab’s economy. If they are provided an atmosphere where they can conduct business freely without unnecessary hurdles and harassment, Punjab can become economically stronger and achieve new heights of progress.
He added that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party government is committed to the welfare of the people and is living up to the expectations of every section of society. The ongoing development works and quick resolution of public grievances in Halka East are clear proof of this commitment.
