Amritsar, July 25 (K.L. Jit Walia): Kapil Chadda, Chairman of the Aam Aadmi Party Trade Commission (East Assembly Constituency), described the resignation of the Union Education Minister as a historic victory for the country’s youth and students. He said the resignation is not merely that of a minister but represents the triumph of millions of young people who have consistently raised their voices against alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, paper leaks, and the demand for transparency in the education system.
Speaking to the media, Kapil Chadda said that despite their hard work and talent, students across the country have repeatedly faced disappointment due to incidents such as examination paper leaks. He stated that these incidents shattered the hopes of millions of families and weakened students’ trust in the examination system. According to him, the latest development reflects the strength of youth unity, awareness, and democratic struggle.
Chadda alleged that the Centre’s policies have created difficulties not only for ordinary citizens but also for students. He claimed that whenever serious issues affecting the future of young people surfaced, attempts were made to delay solutions instead of addressing them promptly. He added that the country’s youth are now fully aware of their rights and know how to raise their voices democratically.
He further said that this development should serve as a lesson for every institution and every individual holding positions of responsibility that any compromise with the future of students and youth will not be tolerated. He stressed that recruitment examinations and the education system must be made fully transparent, accountable, and trustworthy.
Congratulating students, youth, and everyone associated with the movement, Kapil Chadda said that when young people unite to fight for their rights in a democracy, their voices reach even the highest corridors of power. He added that the country’s future is secure in the hands of its youth and that such awareness will continue to play a significant role in shaping the nation’s future.
