Amritsar March 22: A successful blood donation and anti drug awareness camp was organized today at V Care Hospital in Sohian Khurd. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth who came forward in large numbers to donate blood and support the noble cause.
On this occasion DSP Rural Amritsar Yadvinder Singh attended as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering he encouraged young people to stay away from drugs and actively engage in social service activities. He emphasized that youth play a crucial role in building a healthy and responsible society.
One of the highlights of the camp was the participation of Punjab Police officials who themselves donated blood setting a strong example for the youth. Their gesture inspired many first time donors to come forward and contribute.
The camp was organized in collaboration with KVI Blood Bank with significant support from social worker Sarbjit Singh Harry along with his team and Bikramjit Singh. Their efforts ensured smooth coordination and successful execution of the event.
The hospital management including Managing Director Himmat Singh and Chief Medical Officer Dr Patvinder Singh warmly welcomed the guests and appreciated the donors for their contribution.
Several prominent personalities including Kanwar Shamsher Singh Kanwalpreet Singh Arshdeep Singh Nishan Singh Sandeep Singh Swaran Singh Bikramjit Ball Jaswinder Singh and Harry Bhatia were also present during the event.

The initiative not only promoted blood donation but also spread awareness against drug abuse encouraging the youth to take responsibility for a better society.
