Amritsar Punjab :- In a strong message to the business community the Punjab government has reiterated its commitment to resolving traders issues and ensuring a smooth working environment. The assurance came during a meeting held in Attari in Amritsar where officials and traders engaged in direct dialogue.
Speaking at the event Vice Chairman of the District Trade Commission Abhishek Bansal emphasized the vision of “Traders growth is Punjab growth” and highlighted that the government under Bhagwant Singh Mann is working actively to address business related concerns at the grassroots level. He stated that authorities are now reaching out to traders directly to resolve their issues on priority rather than making them run from one office to another.
During the meeting traders openly shared their concerns regarding day to day operational challenges. Officials from multiple departments were present and many issues were addressed on the spot. Bansal pointed out that for years small traders and shopkeepers had to face unnecessary delays and repeated visits to government offices even for minor tasks which resulted in loss of both time and money. He stressed that the government is determined to change this system through proactive governance.
Gurminder Singh assured the trading community that their problems would be resolved on priority and that no trader would face unnecessary trouble in government offices. His statement was seen as a confidence boosting step for local businesses.
The meeting was attended by officials from GST Labour Industry PSPCL and Panchayat departments along with police representatives including DSP Yadvinder Singh. Members of the commission and several traders from Attari market also participated making the session interactive and solution oriented.
The initiative reflects the government focus on strengthening the business environment and promoting economic growth in the region.
