Amritsar, Feb 23 (K.L. Jit Walia): On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, a grand bhandara and havan yagya were organized at Mandir Shivala Phagumal located on Cooper Road in the North constituency. A large number of devotees participated, offered prayers to Lord Shiva, and partook in the langar.
The temple was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and devotees continued to arrive from early morning. Worshippers performed special prayers seeking prosperity, well-being, and welfare for society. The rituals were conducted by Keval Gupta, Chetan Kapoor, Raman Ji, and S. Mattu Ji with proper religious procedures.
As part of the religious program, a large havan yagya was also performed, where devotees offered oblations and prayed for peace and public welfare. The spiritual atmosphere filled the venue with devotion and enthusiasm.
On this occasion, Aam Aadmi Party leader Gaurav Aggarwal from the North constituency attended the event, paid obeisance at the temple, interacted with devotees, and served langar with a spirit of service. He said that such religious gatherings strengthen brotherhood and mutual harmony in society and help connect people with the Almighty.
Volunteers served langar with humility and dedication, and hundreds of devotees participated in the community feast. Attendees appreciated the organizers for arranging such a meaningful religious event, which created a deeply spiritual atmosphere throughout the day.
