Amritsar :- In Amritsar, special camps are being organized at various locations in the East constituency under the Chief Minister Health Scheme with the aim of providing better healthcare facilities to residents. These camps are being held under the supervision of MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur to facilitate the creation of health cards for free treatment, ensuring that every needy family can access quality healthcare services.
As part of this initiative, a special camp was organized today at the Verka camp office under the leadership of Advocate Harpal Singh Nijjar, Block President Verka and head of the Legal Wing Majha Zone of Aam Aadmi Party. During the camp, health cards were issued to a large number of people, enabling them to avail free medical treatment of up to ₹10 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur said that the objective of the scheme launched by the Punjab government is to provide affordable and quality healthcare services to the common people. She emphasized that no needy person should be deprived of medical treatment, and therefore such camps are being organized continuously. She added that ensuring the health and well-being of citizens is a top priority of the government.
Several leaders and workers were present at the event, including Advocate Harpal Singh Nijjar, Maninderjit Singh Dharowali, Kapil Chadha (Chairman, Trade Commission Amritsar East), Daljit Singh (Block Coordinator, Youth Wing Verka), Gurpreet Singh Gopi, and Dharampal Singh Khalsa (Coordinator, Kisan Wing Amritsar East).
On this occasion, Advocate Harpal Singh Nijjar appealed to the public to take maximum advantage of these camps and benefit from the healthcare facilities being provided by the government.
