Amritsar, July 14 (Uppal):- Northern Railway has intensified preparations for the inauguration of Amrit Bharat Stations developed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and the flagging off of India’s first hydrogen-powered train, scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 17.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the event, the Northern Railway Headquarters has issued orders assigning senior officials from different railway divisions to oversee the ceremonies at various locations.
According to the orders, senior officers have been deputed for inauguration events at Mohali, Kartoli, Anandpur Sahib, Amb Andaura, and Kalka stations under the Ambala Division; Shamli, Nawana, Modinagar, and Sonipat stations under the Delhi Division; and Harrawala and Dhampur stations under the Moradabad Division.
For the inauguration ceremony at Muktsar Railway Station, which falls under the Ferozepur Division, responsibility has been assigned to the CPM GSU/UMB.
In addition, senior officials from various Northern Railway departments have been assigned duties for the inauguration of India’s first hydrogen train at Jalandhar and Jind.
The event in Jalandhar will be attended by the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Ferozepur Division along with several departmental heads, while technical and administrative officers have also been deployed in Jind.
As per the official instructions, the Chief Freight Transportation Manager (CFTM) will monitor train operations from the Northern Railway Headquarters Control Office, while the Chief Communication Engineer (CCE) will coordinate with the Railway Board’s Director (Telecom) to ensure seamless communication throughout the event.
Following the issuance of these orders, Northern Railway has further accelerated preparations for the July 17 inauguration. On this occasion, the newly redeveloped Amrit Bharat Stations will be dedicated to the nation, and India’s first hydrogen-powered train will also be flagged off.
