Meeting Held to Review Preparations for the Welcome of Keval Singh Dhillon and Tarun Chugh
Amritsar (Harpinder Soni): Senior BJP leader and Punjab BJP President Keval Singh Dhillon, along with BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, will visit the holy religious sites of Amritsar for the first time after assuming their new responsibilities.
To review preparations for their grand welcome, a special meeting was held at the BJP District Office, Shaheed Harbans Lal Khanna Memorial, under the chairmanship of BJP District President Harvinder Singh Sandhu.
Prominent leaders present at the meeting included BJP Amritsar Urban In-charge K.D. Bhandari, Dr. Ram Chawla, Sukhminder Singh Pintu, Kumar Amit, Gurpratap Singh Tikka, Ajaibir Pal Singh Randhawa, District General Secretaries Salil Kapoor and Manish Sharma, Bakshi Ram Arora, Jaspal Singh Shantu, Mohit Mahajan, Rajesh Honey, Reena Jaitley, Paramjit Singh Batra, Sanjay Sharma, Maninder Singh Thekedar, Councillors Gaurav Gill, Aman Aery, and Kriti Arora.
Addressing the meeting, Harvinder Singh Sandhu assigned responsibilities to party office-bearers and stated that Punjab BJP President Keval Singh Dhillon would be visiting Amritsar for the first time after taking charge of his new position. He further informed that BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, recently elected to the Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh, would also be visiting Amritsar for the first time after his new appointment.
According to the schedule, both leaders will arrive at Bhandari Bridge at 9:30 AM on June 18, where they will receive a grand welcome from a large gathering of BJP workers. They will then proceed through Hall Bazaar to Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib to pay obeisance and seek blessings.

Later, at 12:30 PM, they will visit Jallianwala Bagh to pay tribute to the martyrs. At 1:00 PM, they will proceed to the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Panorama at Company Bagh. At 3:00 PM, they will offer prayers at Sri Durgiana Temple, followed by a visit to the BJP office at 3:30 PM, where they will pay floral tributes at the statue of Shaheed Harbans Lal Khanna.
Thereafter, at 4:00 PM, both leaders will visit Shri Ram Tirath Temple and seek blessings of Bhagwan Valmiki.
Harvinder Singh Sandhu said that BJP workers are highly enthusiastic about the visit of both leaders. He expressed confidence that their visit would bring renewed energy to the party and could pave the way for significant political developments in Punjab in the coming days.
