Amritsar, December 31:- Today, the inauguration of road construction works in Ward No. 44, Ishwar Nagar (Ghule Wali Gali) and Ward No. 45, Murabba Wali Gali near the tower in Dhaka Colony was carried out by Constituency MLA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar. A sense of enthusiasm was seen among the local residents, as these roads had been a long-pending demand of the area.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar stated that the Punjab Government is fully committed to strengthening basic infrastructure in every ward of the Southern Amritsar constituency. He said that the newly constructed roads would provide better commuting facilities to residents and would also enhance the overall appearance of the area. He further assured that there would be no compromise on the quality of work and that all development projects would be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
On this occasion, Madam Sunita Ji (Women Wing Coordinator, Southern Constituency) and Madam Jagdeep Kaur Ji (Block Coordinator, Women Wing) said that the role of women in development works is being further strengthened and that public issues are being resolved on a priority basis.
From the Media Wing, Gurpreet Singh (Constituency In-charge), Ravi Ji (Block In-charge), Bablu Ji (Block In-charge), along with Block In-charge Jaspal Singh Bhullar Ji, Raviser Singh, Sandeep Singh and Gurpreet Singh Bhalu Ji were also present. Local residents expressed their gratitude to the Honorable MLA and the Punjab Government, stating that this initiative is an important step towards the overall development of the constituency.
