A remarkable chapter was added to cricket history during the Punjab State Senior Cricket Tournament as Amritsar defeated Tarn Taran by a massive margin of 220 runs in a one-day match played at the AGA Gandhi Ground.
The highlight of the match was an explosive innings by rising cricket star and Indian international Abhishek Sharma, who scored a sensational 233 runs off just 91 balls while representing Amritsar. His breathtaking knock included 25 sixes and 15 fours, leaving spectators amazed. Team captain Abhinav Sharma contributed 51 runs, while Abhay Chaudhary played an impressive innings of 93 runs. Riding on these outstanding performances, Amritsar posted a mammoth 534 runs in a single innings, creating a new milestone in cricket history.
On the occasion, AGA Gandhi Ground Secretary Sagar Mehra congratulated the Amritsar team and Abhishek Sharma for their historic achievement.
