Amritsar, August 2 (K.L. Jit Walia):The festival of Teej was celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor by Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Amritsar West, Dr. Jasbir Singh Sandhu, and his team. A large number of women participated in the event and enjoyed rituals and activities associated with Punjab’s rich culture and heritage.
The celebration was filled with vibrant cultural performances, including Giddha, Boliyan, swings, and other traditional presentations, which added color and joy to the occasion. Women dressed in traditional Punjabi attire made the festival even more memorable.
On this occasion, MLA Dr. Jasbir Singh Sandhu extended his greetings to all the women and said that Teej is a symbol of Punjab’s rich culture and traditions. He stated that such events not only help preserve the state’s cultural heritage but also strengthen social harmony and community bonds.

He further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working to preserve and promote Punjab’s cultural heritage, and such events will always be encouraged.
At the conclusion of the programme, all the participating women were thanked and extended warm wishes on the occasion of Teej.
