Amritsar, August 2 (Phuljit Singh Varpal, Harpinder Soni, Manjeet Singh Mehra):As part of the Congress Party’s organizational strengthening campaign, Vinod Kumar has been appointed as the Media In-Charge of the Block Congress Committee, Gopal Nagar, Amritsar. The appointment was made by former Cabinet Minister Anil Joshi and Block President Haridev Sharma under the leadership of Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and District Congress President Saurabh Madan (Mithu).
On the occasion, former Cabinet Minister Anil Joshi said that the people of Punjab are deeply disappointed with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and are eager to bring the Congress Party back to power in the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. He added that the Congress Party is continuously working to strengthen its organization and that such new appointments will further reinforce the party at the grassroots level.
Several Congress leaders and workers, including Sarbjit Singh, Dinesh Kumar, former Director Balbir Singh, Tilak Raj, Danish, and Love Kumar, were also present during the event.
