Amritsar, July 13 (K.L. Jit Walia): MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur of the Amritsar East Assembly constituency inaugurated the newly constructed 11 KV Gokal Ka Bagh Feeder at the 132 KV G.T. Road Substation, Amritsar. The new feeder has been created by bifurcating the existing 11 KV East Mohan Nagar Feeder.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the Punjab Government is continuously strengthening the state’s power infrastructure to provide uninterrupted, reliable, and high-quality electricity services to consumers.
She stated that the commissioning of the new feeder will significantly improve electricity supply in East Mohan Nagar, Gokal Ka Bagh, Sudarshan Nagar, 100 Feet Road, and nearby areas. The new feeder will reduce the electrical load on the existing network, minimize power interruptions, and ensure a more stable and dependable power supply for both industrial units and domestic consumers.
Jeevan Jyot Kaur further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is making continuous investments in strengthening the power distribution infrastructure. These initiatives aim to provide uninterrupted electricity to industries while ensuring better services for the general public. She added that such development projects would boost industrial growth in the region and benefit consumers alike.

Sekhon, Sub-Divisional Officer Sultanwind Er.
