Amritsar, July 13 (K.L. Jit Walia):MLA from Amritsar East Assembly constituency, Mrs. Jeevan Jyot Kaur, inaugurated the work of laying a new clean drinking water pipeline at Ganpati Estate, under Ward No. 23, for the benefit of local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that the Punjab Government is continuously undertaking development projects to strengthen basic civic infrastructure in urban areas.
She stated that the new pipeline will provide clean, safe, and uninterrupted drinking water to the residents of Ganpati Estate and nearby localities, helping resolve the long-standing water supply issues in the area.
During the event, MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur also interacted with local residents, listened to their grievances, suggestions, and other public concerns, and directed the concerned officials to ensure their prompt resolution.
She assured the residents that all their genuine issues would be addressed at the earliest. She added that serving the people, ensuring holistic development of the constituency, and providing essential civic amenities to every household remain her top priorities.
The MLA further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to people-centric development and providing better civic facilities to every section of society. Development works in the constituency will continue with the same commitment.
