Pledges to Further Strengthen the Organization
Amritsar, June 14 (K.L. Jeet Walia, Phuljit Varpal): In a significant move aimed at strengthening the party organization, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed senior party leader, Director of the Punjab Sewerage Board, and In-Charge of the Education Wing for the Majha Zone, Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal, as the President of AAP Amritsar Urban District. The appointment is being viewed as recognition of his long-standing loyalty, organizational contributions, and dedicated service to the party.
Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal has been actively associated with the Aam Aadmi Party since 2013 and has efficiently discharged responsibilities in several important positions within the party. He has also served as Vice President of the Trade Wing. Furthermore, from 2017 to 2021, he worked as the In-Charge of the East Constituency, playing an active grassroots role in strengthening the party and uniting workers to build a stronger organization.
Following his appointment, Dhanjal thanked the party’s national and Punjab leadership for the trust placed in him. He stated that he would live up to their confidence through honesty, hard work, and complete dedication. He emphasized that he would work tirelessly to strengthen the organization and ensure that the party’s people-centric policies reach every household with the support of all party workers.
Dhanjal said that his primary objective would be to further strengthen the party structure in Amritsar Urban, activate workers at the booth level, and increase direct engagement with the public. He added that special campaigns would be launched to take the party’s development-oriented and welfare policies to every section of society.
He also expressed gratitude to party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab party leadership, and the entire senior leadership for their trust and support. He expressed confidence that, with the cooperation of all workers, the Aam Aadmi Party would become even stronger and achieve outstanding results in future elections.
Dhanjal further stated that he would work day and night to take the party organization to new heights and make every possible effort to help the Aam Aadmi Party form the government in Punjab once again.
