Amritsar, May 26 (K.L. Jit Walia) — Amid the Municipal Council elections held across various cities in Punjab, a large turnout and enthusiastic participation were witnessed in the Jandiala Guru area as well. Despite the intense heat, a significant number of residents reached polling stations to exercise their democratic right to vote.
On this occasion, former Jandiala Guru MLA Sukhwinder Singh Danny Bandala expressed heartfelt gratitude to the voters, supporters, and party workers who participated in the Municipal Council elections. He said that despite the scorching weather, people came out in large numbers to vote and thereby strengthened democracy.
Danny Bandala stated that the people of Jandiala Guru had shown their trust in the Indian National Congress by voting in favor of the party during the Municipal Council elections. He assured that he would always remain committed to serving the people of the constituency and work to fulfill their expectations.
The former MLA further claimed that the Congress Party would form the government in Punjab in the 2027 Assembly elections, stating that people are disappointed with the policies of the current government and are looking toward Congress with renewed hope.
