Amritsar, April 30 (K.L. Jit Walia):Following the directions of Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, party workers led by West Constituency In-charge Dilbagh Singh Annagarh staged a massive protest in West Constituency against the daily power cuts being imposed by the Punjab Government.
On this occasion, Dilbagh Singh Annagarh, Gurpreet Singh Wadali, and Tarsem Singh Changiyara addressed the gathering and said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has failed on every front, and today every section of Punjab is distressed due to the government’s anti-people policies. They stated that long power cuts are disrupting people’s daily lives and even at night citizens are unable to rest properly.
They alleged that the promises made by the government are not being fulfilled and that people are being deprived of basic amenities. They said that the Shiromani Akali Dal has always stood as the voice of the people and fought for their rights, and will continue its struggle in the future as well.
