Amritsar, April 15 (K.L. Jit Walia) — On the occasion of Baisakhi, a traditional fair was organized as every year on April 13–14 at the Jathere (ancestral shrine) of the Bhatia community in village Bal Baba, Fatehgarh Churian, Amritsar.
Thousands of members of the Bhatia community from India and abroad reached the venue along with their families and paid their respects. Devotees bowed before their ancestors and sought blessings with deep faith and devotion. A continuous 24-hour langar (community kitchen) service was arranged for all visitors.
Mahant Sarwan Das Ji of the temple said that any wish made here is fulfilled. He also shared that visiting the place and seeking blessings from the ancestors brought a sense of spiritual satisfaction and peace that cannot be expressed in words. He added that he felt fortunate to have the opportunity to visit and receive blessings at the sacred site.
