Amritsar, April 15 (K.L. Jit Walia) – On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a special program was organized by Mission Health Foundation (Regd.), Punjab.
The event was held under the leadership of Chairman Pawan Sabharwal, President Tajinder Singh Bawa, social worker Yuvraj Wadali, Sevadar Prem Singh Ji, and Baba Labh Singh Ji.
During the program, the foundation team distributed notebooks, pens, pencils, and other stationery items to underprivileged children. Several dignitaries including Councillor Jarnail Singh Dhott, Vishnu Ji, and social worker Dr. Vikas Salhotra participated in the event, encouraged the children, distributed stationery, and paid tribute to Babasaheb.
While paying homage, Councillor Jarnail Singh Dhott said that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s contribution to India is incomparable. He emphasized the need to follow Babasaheb’s teachings in today’s time. He further stated that Ambedkar gave a new direction to society, education, politics, and the justice system, which played a crucial role in the nation’s progress.
