Panipat: BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta expressed happiness over the party’s victory in the municipal elections in Rajasthan, describing it as a major success for the BJP. She said the people of Rajasthan have expressed their trust in the BJP and that the “triple-engine government” will now accelerate the pace of development in the state.
Targeting the opposition, Archana Gupta said the opposition has continuously been trying to spread “lies and confusion,” but the Rajasthan election results have made the public sentiment clear. She said the opposition suffered a major defeat in the elections and that the people had endorsed the BJP’s development agenda.
Speaking about the achievements of the Haryana government, the BJP state president said that around 70 percent of the announcements and promises made by the BJP when it came to power have already been fulfilled. She said the government is continuously implementing its commitments on the ground and giving a new direction to the development of the state.
On the Congress raising questions over the success of the BRICS Summit, Archana Gupta also criticised the opposition. She said the opposition was unable to accept the success of the BRICS Summit. According to her, the opposition is concerned about India’s growing role on the global stage and the country’s strong position under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the issue of terrorism, Archana Gupta said that since 2014, whenever terrorists have attempted attacks in the country, India has responded firmly. She said the government’s policy against terrorism is now clear: there will be no compromise on national security, and any enemy threat will be responded to firmly.
Archana Gupta’s remarks covered a range of political issues, including the BJP’s victory in Rajasthan, the performance of the Haryana government, the BRICS Summit and terrorism, while directly criticising the opposition.
