Amritsar, June 15 (K.L. Jit Walia): During a special meeting held at the Mayor’s office, Mayor Jatinder Singh Bhatia extended his warm congratulations to senior leaders who were recently entrusted with new organizational responsibilities.
Mayor Bhatia honored Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal on his appointment as President of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Amritsar Urban District and Jarnail Singh Dhot, Senior Vice Chairman of the Kamboj Welfare Board, on his appointment as AAP District Lok Sabha In-Charge. Both leaders were felicitated with traditional Siropaos and congratulated on their new roles.
Expressing his happiness on the occasion, Mayor Bhatia said that both leaders are hardworking and maintain strong grassroots connections with the people. He expressed confidence that under their leadership, the party organization would gain further strength at the Lok Sabha level and that they would play a significant role in taking the party’s policies and programs to every household.
The newly appointed leaders thanked the Mayor and the party high command for the honor and trust placed in them. They assured everyone that they would discharge their responsibilities with complete dedication, honesty, and commitment.
Among those present on the occasion were Councillor Vicky Dutta, Vicky Mahajan, and several other senior party leaders.
