Amritsar, June 16 (K.L. Jit Walia): A large-scale Traders’ Meet was organized today at Liberty Market by the North Constituency Traders Commission, under the chairmanship of Rahil Khanna, Chairman of the Traders Commission. A large number of traders attended the meeting and brought their concerns and suggestions to the attention of the administration.
The event was successfully organized with the special contribution of Market President Rajesh Ji, Mohin Khan Ji, Naresh Mahajan Ji, and other trade representatives. Their efforts helped make the meeting an effective public hearing platform. Constituency In-Charge Karamjit Singh Rintu also participated as a special guest.
Senior officials from various departments, including ACP North Gagandeep Singh, SHO Civil Lines Gurpreet Singh, the Traffic Police, Municipal Corporation, Improvement Trust, Electricity Department, and other government agencies, attended the meeting and listened carefully to the issues raised by traders.
Members of the Traders Commission team, including Pankaj Ji, Arun Bajaj Ji, Vijay Chandok Ji, Gaurav Arora Ji, Rajnish Ji, Pawan Ji, Rupinder Kataria Ji, Sukhjinder Sonu Ji, and Madam Charanjit Ji, played an important role in making the event successful. They actively interacted with traders, listened to their concerns, and effectively presented them before the concerned authorities. Their dedication and efforts were highly appreciated by the trading community.
During the meeting, traders highlighted key issues such as traffic congestion, parking management, electricity-related concerns, and problems associated with the Municipal Corporation. Detailed discussions were held between traders and officials regarding these matters.
Representatives of the concerned departments assured traders that necessary steps would be taken to address all the issues raised during the meeting.
In his address, Chairman Rahil Khanna stated that the Traders Commission would continue to serve as a strong bridge between traders and the administration. He assured that the commission would consistently convey traders’ concerns to the government and relevant departments and make every effort to ensure their timely resolution.
