Amritsar, April 6 (K.L. Jit Walia) – Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Amritsar West, Dr. Jasbir Singh Sandhu, has initiated development works in Ward No. 70 by starting CC flooring work in Streets No. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the Rode Shah area.
On this occasion, Dr. Sandhu stated that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to providing basic civic amenities in every ward of the city. He added that this development work has been started keeping in view the long-pending demand of the local residents, which will bring significant convenience to the people of the area.
He further said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is addressing public issues on the ground level and ensuring that development works are carried out without any discrimination.
Dr. Sandhu also informed that in the coming time, more projects related to roads, drainage systems, street lighting, and sanitation will be implemented in other parts of Ward No. 70. The aim is to ensure that residents get all urban-level facilities within their locality. He emphasized that with public cooperation, overall development of the area is being ensured, and every issue is being resolved on a priority basis.
On this occasion, Councillor Vijay Bhagat, Balwinder Gora, Baldev Singh, Davinder Sandhu, PA Madhav Sharma, PA Amarjit Shergill, Jaspal Singh Putlighar, along with other dignitaries and a large number of local residents, were present.
