Amritsar, April 2 (K.L. Jit Walia): Renowned Ayurvedic practitioner Vaidya Chatar Singh Rajput of Rajput Dawakhana expressed serious concern over the steadily declining sperm count among men during an important interaction held at Khalsa College.
He stated that modern lifestyle factors such as unhealthy eating habits, increasing consumption of fast food, mental stress, and substance abuse are the primary causes behind this issue. According to him, the problem is rising rapidly among young men, which could have long-term implications at both family and societal levels.
Vaidya Rajput emphasized that if timely attention is not given, this could turn into a major health challenge in the future. He advised young people to maintain a balanced diet, engage in regular physical exercise, and stay away from intoxicants.
He further pointed out that excessive use of mobile phones and laptops, staying up late at night, and lack of proper sleep are also contributing factors. Therefore, adopting a healthier daily routine is extremely important.
During the session, young individuals were made aware of health-related issues and were advised to consult a qualified doctor immediately in case of any health concerns.
