Amritsar, September 8 (K.L. Jit Walia): An important meeting was organised by the Green Avenue EMC Garden Association under the leadership of its Chairman Gurpreet Singh Grover. Detailed discussions were held regarding the development of the area, sanitation व्यवस्था, cleanliness and various civic issues being faced by local residents.
On the occasion, O.P. Bulani, Verma, Balwinder Singh Baveja, other office-bearers of the association and several residents of the area participated in the meeting.
Ward No. 4 In-charge Gurpreet Kataria was also present along with Amritsar North Constituency In-charge and Improvement Trust Chairman Karamjit Singh Rintu and Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma.
During the meeting, local residents raised several concerns and demands related to the poor condition of roads, sanitation arrangements, development and maintenance of the garden, cleanliness and other civic facilities.

The leaders present at the meeting listened carefully to the problems of the residents and assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departmental officials on a priority basis.
They said that every possible effort would be made to ensure the early resolution of the residents’ problems. Coordination would also be established with the concerned departments to accelerate development works in the area.

Ward In-charge Gurpreet Kataria said that listening to the problems of the people, taking necessary action for their resolution and working with honesty and dedication for the development of the area remain his top priorities.
