Amritsar, September 8 (K.L. Jit Walia): A delegation of the National Rajput Welfare Association today held a special meeting with the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, Harmanbir Singh Gill. During the meeting, various important issues related to society and the city were discussed in detail.
During the interaction, representatives of the association shared their views on the law and order situation in the city, public safety and various social issues being faced by the people. The association also appreciated the efforts being made by the police administration to ensure public safety and maintain peace and law and order in Amritsar.
The office-bearers of the association said that mutual cooperation between the police administration and social organisations is extremely important for ensuring the safety of citizens and maintaining a peaceful atmosphere in the city.
They assured the Police Commissioner that the National Rajput Welfare Association would continue to extend every possible cooperation to the police administration in matters related to public welfare and social interest in the future as well.
On the occasion, Association President Avtar Singh Kanda, Surjit Singh Sehajra, Nirmal Singh Nizampura, Sarabinderjit Singh Sonu Sultanwind, Harsimran Singh King Joda, Kuldeep Singh Chauhan, Mohinder Singh Babbu, Narinder Singh Romi and Parmjit Singh Asht, along with other representatives of the association, were present.
