Under the Punjab Government’s public welfare Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme, Ferozepur Urban MLA S. Ranbir Singh Bhullar flagged off a bus carrying devotees for a religious pilgrimage to Khatu Shyam and Salasar Balaji. A large number of devotees participated in the journey with great faith, enthusiasm and religious fervour.
On the occasion, MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar said that the scheme, launched by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is an important initiative to respect the religious sentiments of the people and facilitate their visit to sacred religious places.
He said that the government is ensuring that people can undertake pilgrimages without any financial burden.
The MLA said that during the pilgrimage, the Punjab Government is providing devotees with free transportation, accommodation, langar and other necessary facilities.
While extending his best wishes to all the pilgrims for their sacred journey, MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar prayed that Waheguru Ji bless everyone with His immense grace and bless Punjab with progress, prosperity, peace and harmony.
He also wished all the devotees a happy, safe and comfortable journey.
