Amritsar (KL jit walia, harpindar singh):- BJP workers across Punjab are enthusiastic about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jalandhar. Under the leadership of BJP Amritsar District President Harvinder Singh Sandhu, a large group of hundreds of BJP workers will depart from Amritsar to welcome the Prime Minister. The local party leadership has almost completed all preparations for the visit.
A preparatory meeting was held today at the BJP District Office, Shaheed Harbans Lal Khanna Memorial, under the chairmanship of Harvinder Singh Sandhu.
Addressing the meeting, Harvinder Singh Sandhu said that thousands of party workers from all five Amritsar Assembly constituencies are highly excited about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Punjab. A special convoy of private vehicles and buses has been arranged to welcome him, reflecting the workers’ admiration for his vision and affection for Punjab. Responsibilities have been assigned to party office-bearers for the successful organization of the event.
He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always shared a deep emotional bond with Punjab, and every BJP worker in Amritsar is eagerly waiting to welcome him. “We will participate in thousands to demonstrate that the people of Punjab firmly support the Prime Minister’s policies,” he said.
Sandhu added that Prime Minister Modi’s Punjab visit would pave a new path for the BJP ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. The large participation of workers from Amritsar reflects the party’s growing support base in the state and its increasing strength at the grassroots level.
Congratulating everyone on the inauguration of the new train to Varanasi named after Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, Sandhu said that Prime Minister Modi develops and implements welfare schemes keeping every section of society in mind. He stated that the Prime Minister, his team, and the BJP share one common goal—to ensure that the benefits of Central Government schemes reach the last person in society and inspire citizens to contribute towards nation-building.
