Amritsar, July 16 (K.L. Jit Walia): Sant Niranjan Das Ji, the spiritual head of Dera Sachkhand Ballan, who has been honored with the prestigious Padma Shri by the Government of India, is receiving congratulations and best wishes from devotees across India and abroad. A large number of followers gathered at Dera Sachkhand Ballan to welcome him warmly, presenting him with Siropas (robes of honor) and floral tributes to celebrate the prestigious recognition.
On this occasion, Jagjit Singh Janki, a prominent leader of the Sri Guru Ravidas community from Amritsar, visited Sant Niranjan Das Ji to seek his blessings. Congratulating him on receiving one of India’s highest civilian honors, Janki said that the award is not only a matter of pride for Sant Ji but also for the entire Ravidassia community, Punjab, and the nation.
Jagjit Singh Janki stated that Sant Niranjan Das Ji has dedicated decades to spreading the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, promoting the values of equality, brotherhood, and humanity across the world. He said that considering Sant Ji’s remarkable contributions in the fields of religion, social welfare, and humanitarian service, the Padma Shri is a well-deserved and inspiring recognition.
During the meeting, Sant Niranjan Das Ji blessed Jagjit Singh Janki and encouraged him to continue serving society with dedication while always remaining in high spirits. Sant Ji also honored him with a Siropa. Expressing his gratitude, Janki said that Sant Ji’s blessings would continue to inspire him to work for the welfare of society.
