Amritsar, July 6 (K.L. Jit Walia):- On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Bhai Mani Singh Ji, a grand Gurmat Samagam will be organized under the guidance of Sant Baba Amandeep Singh Ji, Head of Taksal Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji, Dera Sant Amir Singh Ji.
The religious congregation will be held on Thursday, July 9, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Shiromani Sampradaya Taksal Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji, Dera Sant Amir Singh Ji, Sato Wali Gali, Katra Karam Singh, Amritsar.
The celebrations will begin on Tuesday, July 7, with the commencement of Sri Akhand Path Sahib from the ancient handwritten Sri Guru Granth Sahib at 9:00 AM.
On July 9, the schedule includes:
4:00 AM – 5:00 AM: Nitnem and Asa Di Vaar
5:00 AM – 7:00 AM: Asa Di Vaar recitation
7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Waheguru Simran by Bhai Mangal Singh Ji, Hazuri Ragi of the Taksal
7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Continuous Katha by Bhai Manmeet Singh Ji
Devotees will also have the opportunity to pay obeisance and have darshan of the rare handwritten manuscript of Sri Guru Granth Sahib from July 7 to July 9.
The event will be attended by prominent Sikh religious leaders, heads of various Taksals, Nihang Singh organizations, Nirmala, Sewapanthi, Udasi, Nanaksar, Rara Sahib traditions, Kar Sewa saints, renowned scholars, and Ragis.
