Amritsar, January 7 (K.L. Jit Walia):On the occasion of the promotion of SSP Vigilance, Amritsar Range, Mr. Harpreet Singh, IPS, to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG), he was specially honored today by the Rajpal Sultan International Gallery of Fine Art. The program was organized under the leadership of renowned painter Rajpal Sultan and Mr. Harvinder Singh Sandhu, Security Officer at Guru Nanak Dev University and former Commandant.
On this occasion, Rajpal Sultan presented the newly appointed DIG Harpreet Singh with a beautiful hand-painted artwork created by him, as a mark of honor.
Present at the ceremony were K.L. Jeet Walia, Editor-in-Chief of Punjab Media Times newspaper, social worker N.K. Puri, social worker Naveen Joshi, and Harvinder Singh Kanda, who were especially in attendance.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Harpreet Singh said that art knows no boundaries and its fragrance naturally spreads across the entire world.
Members of the gallery expressed pride in honoring SSP Harpreet Singh. They stated that wherever he has served, he has done so with complete dedication and integrity. During his tenure as DCP in Amritsar, he carried out several historic and impactful initiatives that helped curb crime effectively.
