Amritsar, June 10 (K.L. Jit Walia): Member of Parliament from Amritsar, Gurjeet Singh Aujla, held a special meeting with Mallikarjun Kharge, National President of the Indian National Congress, at the All India Congress Committee headquarters, Indira Bhavan, in New Delhi. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the current political situation in Punjab and across the country, along with several important issues concerning the people. The leaders also deliberated on strengthening the Congress Party at the grassroots level, effectively raising public concerns, and further reinforcing the party organization.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla highlighted various issues related to Punjab and brought the expectations and concerns of the people of the state to the attention of the Congress President.
Speaking on the occasion, Aujla said that the country is currently facing several serious challenges, and at such a time, it is the collective responsibility of all political and social stakeholders to raise the voice of the people, safeguard the Constitution and democracy, and guide the nation towards progress, unity, and harmony.
He further stated that under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress Party continues to serve as the voice of every section of society and remains committed to fighting for the rights of the people. He expressed confidence that the party will continue to uphold this commitment in the future as well.
