Amritsar, May 17 (K.L. Jit Walia, Phuljit Varpal) – The District Congress OBC Department organized an impressive function today under the chairmanship of District President Narendra Singh Bittu M.R. During the event, two important appointments were announced under the leadership of senior Congress leader Jasbir Singh Gill Dimpa from the Amritsar East Assembly constituency to further strengthen the organization.
At the function, Gurnam Singh Daddiala was appointed as General Secretary of the District Congress OBC Department, while Pavittar Singh Ladoo was appointed as District Secretary. Congratulating the newly appointed office bearers, party leaders expressed confidence that they would play an important role in taking the party’s policies to every household and effectively raising the issues concerning the OBC community.
On this occasion, Narendra Singh Bittu M.R. said that the Congress Party has always fought for the rights of backward classes and is ensuring proper representation and respect for the OBC community within the organization. He stated that these new appointments would further strengthen the party’s grassroots structure.
Jasbir Singh Gill Dimpa said that the Congress Party believes in taking every section of society along. He added that Gurnam Singh Daddiala and Pavittar Singh Ladoo have been serving the party with dedication for a long time, and these responsibilities have been entrusted to them in recognition of their hard work and commitment.
The newly appointed office bearers thanked the party high command and senior leaders, assuring them that they would live up to the expectations of the party and work wholeheartedly to raise the voice of the OBC community more strongly.
Councillor Amritpal Singh, Gurinder Singh Freedom, Pushpinder Singh Saggu, along with several office bearers and workers of the OBC Department, were also present in large numbers during the event. Discussions were also held regarding strengthening the party organization and preparations for the upcoming elections.
