Amritsar (K. L. Jit Walia) – Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia has once again received a death threat, raising serious concerns for security agencies.
According to information, the threat was sent through a foreign WhatsApp number, which is believed to have been used earlier for similar threatening messages. In the latest message, Majithia was reportedly warned: “Live a few more days, the trailer is coming soon.” After this message, panic spread in political circles and security concerns increased.
Sources indicate that this is not the first time Majithia has received such threats. Earlier also, he had reportedly received similar threatening messages from the same suspicious foreign number. The repeated use of the same contact has further alarmed security agencies.
Following the incident, the cyber cell has initiated an investigation. Continuous threats to political leaders have also raised questions over security arrangements. Police and investigative agencies are treating the matter seriously and are examining all technical aspects to trace the origin of the message.
