Brampton, Canada, May 3 (Jobanpreet Singh Walia):International Literary Sanjhan has carved a distinct identity in the literary world by bringing together over 800 poets from across the globe on a shared platform during its five-year journey.
The organization hosts its monthly “Kavi Milni” programme on the second Sunday of every month, where both renowned poets and emerging writers are given equal respect and opportunity to present their work.
Founder and organizer Raminder Rammi said that due to the long waiting list of poets, many writers are still waiting for a chance to participate again—reflecting the growing popularity of the platform.
Emphasizing the importance of her team, she remarked,
“Agar tum na hote, to hum na hote”
(“If you were not there, neither would we be”), highlighting the crucial role of team members.
Additionally, on the last Sunday of every month, the organization conducts the programme “Sirjana De Aar Paar,” hosted by Prof. Kuljit Ji. The programme has now completed four years, during which 52 distinguished personalities have been featured and introduced to audiences. Depending on guest availability, the schedule is occasionally adjusted.
Raminder Rammi and Prof. Kuljit Ji also shared that a book compiling the personalities featured in “Sirjana De Aar Paar” will soon be published, which is expected to be an inspirational and collectible work for readers.
The organization has also been publishing an e-magazine for the past 4–5 years, featuring both new and established writers.
A notable aspect of the organization is that all programmes are conducted free of cost. The entire financial and technical support is provided by Raminder Rammi’s family. Her son manages technical tasks ranging from creating meeting links to uploading recordings on YouTube and preparing certificates of honour.
Through these efforts, International Literary Sanjhan is not only promoting poetry but is also encouraging emerging writers and strengthening literary values and culture.
