Amritsar, June 5 (K.L. Jit Walia): Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Chairman of the Traders Commission, Amritsar West Constituency, Manjit Singh Mann, has described the Punjab Government’s decision to constitute the Traders Commission as a historic and visionary step for safeguarding the interests of the trading community.
While interacting with journalists, Mann said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has, for the first time, provided traders with a strong and effective platform to voice their concerns and seek solutions to their problems.
He stated that in the past, traders often had to visit multiple government offices to get their issues addressed and were frequently uncertain about which department or official was responsible for resolving their grievances.
Manjit Singh Mann said that the formation of the Traders Commission has now provided business owners and traders with a direct and effective channel to communicate their concerns and suggestions to the government. This initiative will not only ensure the timely resolution of traders’ issues but will also strengthen coordination between the government and the business community.
He emphasized that traders play a vital role in Punjab’s economy and that the government’s efforts to protect and promote their interests will provide a new direction to the state’s commercial and economic development. According to him, the Traders Commission will serve as the voice of the business community and make every possible effort to address the challenges faced by traders.
Mann thanked the Punjab Government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for taking this significant initiative aimed at supporting and empowering traders. He expressed confidence that the commission would prioritize traders’ concerns and contribute to creating a stronger and more business-friendly environment across Punjab.
