Amritsar, May 18 (K.L. Jit Walia) — Narendra Kumar Tinu, chief sevadar of the historic and renowned Hazrat Baba Jahra Pir Ji Dargah, along with his associates, honored Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Surinder Pal Singh of the Central constituency of Amritsar for his commendable services in the police department.
On this occasion, Chairman of Nav Nirman Society Arun Mahajan, Secretary Ashwani Narang, President of the Auto Spare Parts Association Yashpal Sharma, and Chief Editor of Punjab Media Times K.L. Jeet Walia, along with several other prominent personalities, were present.
The delegation honored ACP Surinder Pal Singh by presenting him with a bouquet of flowers. While appreciating his work, the speakers stated that during his tenure, he has played a significant role in maintaining law and order, addressing public grievances on a priority basis, and strengthening communal harmony in society.
Speaking on the occasion, ACP Surinder Pal Singh thanked all the members and said that under the guidance of Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, the scope of police-public meetings in the city would be expanded further to maintain direct communication with citizens and ensure the prompt resolution of their problems.
He firmly stated that the campaign against drugs would be intensified and every possible effort would be made to completely eradicate the drug menace from society. He added that peace, law, and security in the city could only be strengthened through mutual cooperation between the police and the public.
