Amritsar, 4 May (Phuljit Verpal) – In recognition of his long-standing active and commendable services in the Congress Party, the party high command has appointed leader Avtar Singh Sandhu as Secretary of the Scheduled Caste (SC) Department of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
Expressing happiness over his appointment, Avtar Singh Sandhu thanked Congress leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Rajender Pal Gautam, Bhupesh Baghel, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Charanjit Singh Channi, Om Prakash Soni, Sudhir Chaudhary, and Gurpreet Singh Lucky Pakhon Ji, along with the entire Congress Party.
He said that he will discharge the responsibility entrusted to him with full sincerity and dedication. Sandhu assured that he will work at the grassroots level and make every possible effort to strengthen the Congress Party further, fulfilling his responsibilities with commitment and dedication.
