Amritsar, April 4 (K.L. Jit Walia) — Under the Punjab Government and Police Department’s anti-drug campaign “War Against Drugs”, a large police-public meeting was held in the Raja Sansi area of Amritsar Rural. The meeting was chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sohail Mir.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Dharminder Kalyan, SHO of Raja Sansi Inspector Harsimar Kaur, SHO of Lopoke Inspector Shamsher Singh, and Aam Aadmi Party constituency in-charge Sonia Mann were among the prominent attendees.

Addressing thousands of people present, SSP Sohail Mir stated that making Amritsar Rural free from crime and drugs is his top priority. He urged citizens to report drug traffickers through the Safe Punjab App, assuring that the identity of informants would remain confidential.
He also warned that illegally acquired properties of drug traffickers would be seized and demolished.
DSP Dharminder Kalyan added that law and order would not be allowed to deteriorate under any circumstances.
