Amritsar, April 4 (K.L. Jit Walia) — MLA from Amritsar East Jeevanjot Kaur reviewed the ongoing work of health cards being issued under the Chief Minister’s Health Scheme at the office of Ramgarhia Welfare Board member Sharanjit Singh.
These health cards provide free medical treatment coverage of up to ₹10 lakh. During her visit, she also interacted with beneficiaries.
On the occasion, MLA Jeevanjot Kaur stated that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is committed to providing better healthcare facilities to the public. She emphasized that these health cards are proving to be a major relief for poor and middle-class families.
She appreciated the efforts of Sharanjit Singh and his team for organizing the camp, stating that such initiatives play an important role in ensuring that government schemes reach the needy.
She also appealed to residents who have not yet registered for the health cards to do so at the earliest.
During the visit, Sharanjit Singh and his team honored the MLA. Jeevanjot Kaur expressed her gratitude and reaffirmed her commitment to the development of the area and service to the people. Local leaders and residents were also present on the occasion.
