Amritsar, March 31 (K.L. Jit Walia) – The annual function of Lord Shiva Public School, Verka was celebrated today with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event was organized under the guidance of the school chairman Vikas Mahajan and principal Monica Mahajan, and was attended by students, teachers, and parents in large numbers.
The chief guest for the occasion was Advocate Harpal Singh Nizjar, head of the Aam Aadmi Party Legal Wing, Majha Zone. In his address, he encouraged students to focus on hard work, discipline, and setting high goals. He added that annual functions like these serve as an excellent platform for nurturing the hidden talents of children.
During the event, talented students presented a colorful cultural program, including dance, songs, dramas, and other performances, which captivated the audience. The audience applauded the outstanding performances of the students.
Advocate Harpal Singh Nizjar also awarded students who had excelled throughout the year and honored them with mementos. He appreciated the efforts of the school management and teachers in guiding and mentoring the students.
