Amritsar, Feb 23 (Punjab Media Times Team): On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, a grand community feast (bhandara) was organized at Kacheri Chowk by renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Raghav Wadhwa. A large number of devotees and local residents participated, received prasad, and expressed their devotion to Lord Shiva.
Devotees started arriving early in the morning, and volunteers distributed langar with dedication and a spirit of service. The atmosphere remained devotional throughout the day, with visible enthusiasm among participants.
Senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party and PUDA Amritsar Director Kunal Dhawan, along with social worker Suraj Wadhwa and Punjab Media Times Editor-in-Chief K. L. Jeet Walia, took part in the event and served langar to devotees. They said such religious gatherings help strengthen brotherhood and communal harmony in society.
Dr. Raghav Wadhwa stated that the festival of Maha Shivratri conveys the message of devotion to Lord Shiva and service to humanity. He emphasized that serving the needy is the greatest virtue and assured that similar social and religious programs will continue in the future.
On this occasion, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Anil Khullar, Jasbir Singh, Vicky, Deepak, Satwant Singh Babbu, and many other dignitaries and volunteers were present and contributed to the success of the event.
