Amritsar, January 30 (K.L. Jit Walia):- The final ardas and tribute ceremony in memory of renowned playwright, pride of Punjab, and eminent scholar Jatinder Barar was held today at Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar. A large number of political leaders, officials, artists, businessmen, and members of the public attended the ceremony, paid floral tributes, and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family. Those who could not be present—especially leaders and artists from Mumbai—sent condolence messages expressing their grief and respect for the departed soul.
The bhog and final ardas were performed today in the presence of his elder son Amuldeeb Singh, younger son Abhijeet Singh, and other members and relatives of the Barar family.

On this occasion, Amuldeeb Singh Barar was presented a siropa by the Gurdwara Committee and the Avatar Parv Committee, while a turban was presented by the maternal family. Speakers lauded the achievements and contributions of the late Jatinder Barar and conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the family.
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla, artists Bharti Singh, Rajeev Thakur, Chandan Prabhakar, and others who could not attend the final ardas sent condolence messages and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
